Coaches

Scott Baxter is the founder and head coach of the Blazing Foxes Wrestling Club. A lifelong athlete and competitor, Scott captained the Spencerport Rangers before wrestling at the collegiate level for RIT. He also brings national and international experience as an Olympic weightlifting Age Group World Bronze Medalist and multiple-time USA national championship place winner.

Scott has coached youth wrestling for over three seasons with Hilton Youth Wrestling, where he became known for teaching advanced technique through a games-based learning model that makes practices fun, creative, and challenging.

Above all, Scott is committed to guiding young athletes in their Christian faith while developing toughness, discipline, and respect on and off the mat. As a father of three current and future wrestlers, he understands the importance of creating a safe, encouraging environment where homeschool athletes can thrive in body, mind, and spirit.

At Blazing Foxes, Coach Baxter’s mission is to build a team that is “Unregistered. Unmatched.” — instilling courage, character, and Christ-centered confidence in every athlete.
